Conference Report

Short message of the exeptional general meeting of the Swiss Society of Steril Supply Managment (SVLS) on September 1st, 2000, at the University Hospital, Bern.

The purpose of the extraordinary meeting was the declaration of acceptance of the revised statutes and the new name of the SVLS. The revised statutes were accepted unanimously. For a new name for the association several propositions were submitted.

From January 2001, the SVLS will be called Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Sterilgutversorgung (SGSV), in English, Swiss Society for Sterile Supply. The name of the French speaking part of Switzerland will be Association Suisse pour la Sterilisation (ASPS). The new logos are under "construction" and will appear in January 2001.

The winner of the competion for the new name is Ffanka Lal, Bremen, Germany.
