HuDiS, the Hungarian Disinfectology Association was established in 2005 as a result of a long-existing desire of the specialist working in the field of disinfection and sterilization, to have a professional organization that serves as a forum for improving the professional culture, as well as preserving and promoting the existing knowledge and information exchange in the field of health-service related disinfection and sterilization.

Our objectives and tasks include:
providing an autonomic forum for representing the professional interests of the providers of health-service related disinfection and sterilization;
establishing an autonomic forum for information exchange;
providing expertise (related to disinfection and sterilization);
organizing convections and scientific events;
representing professional interests of its members;
organizing, supporting and promoting vocational training and education;
establishing relationship with national and international organizations of similar interests;
participation in research activities, promoting and releasing publications;
Our members represent wide spectrum of medical specialists mainly from preventive medicine, including its field, second and central levels, specialists from field of hospital epidemiology and hygiene, outstanding researchers and hospital managers.
