How would one acquire a free copy of the many ENs? Is there a website that offer free download for these standards? I am particularly interested in EN285.

All CEN European Standard documents are protected by copyright (no free downloads or copies). The sale of the standards covers a small amount of the cost of the system's operation.
The standards may be bought from national CEN Members and Affiliates.
